Kilwell Short Butt Extender is an all stainless insert which fits into most rod holders. It quickly and easily
locks in place so your "short bent butt" stand up type fishing rods will firmly lock into your rod holder
and will keep the reel handle clear of the gunwale.

The adapter shortens the distance to the gimbal pin by around 50mm or 2", engages the gimbal butt
on your rod, preventing it from turning. Best used on both stern corner positions or wherever you like
to position your short bent butt rods, and always remember to secure your rods with a safety lanyard.
